Join us this Saturday, April 4 at 10am at the Kilbourn Public Library for the puppet show "The Mysterious Egg" followed by a craft. 

Come Join Us This Saturday, March 28 At KPL For An Art Lesson!

This Saturday, March 28 the Kilbourn Public Library will be forming partnerships with the Stewards of The Dells of the Wisconsin River and artist Ellen McGaughey to make artists out of area young people.  Join us for an art lesson at 10 am at the library to learn new drawing skills.  You can then create an entry in the Wisconsin River Art Contest sponsored by the Stewards!

Join us this Tuesday, March 24 for a Tuesday Tue-Do at the Kilbourn Public Library!  The theme for this event is "game day."  Join us as we play the day away!

It's Movie Day At The Library This Saturday, March 21. Join Us For High School Musical 3!

The library will be showing High School Musical 3 this Saturday, March 21 at 10AM at the Kilbourn Public Library.  Come and join us, and we'll supply the popcorn!

Young Adults: Join Us On St. Patrick's Day (Tuesday, March 17) For A St. Paddy's Day Party!

Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17 for See YA Around.  Young adults are invited to join Tara from 4-6PM at the Kilbourn Public Library for a St. Paddy's Day party!  We'll have food and festivities in celebration of the green.

2nd Public Discussion on Library Services This Thursday, March 12

Join us for our second discussion on library services this Thursday, March 12 at 7p.m at the Kilbourn Public Library.  Members of the community will have the opportunity to voice their opinions on library services, programs and the building expansion study.

Join Us For An Irish Adventure Saturday, March 14

Please join us this Saturday, March 14 at 10 a.m. at the Lake Delton school for an Irish adventure!  Hear Irish folktales, listen to Irish harp music and make your own lucky clover necklace.

Join Us For A Tuesday Tue-Do and a Passenger Pigeon Program Tuesday, March 10

KPL has two events lined for Tuesday, March 10:

Join us at 1p.m. for a Tuesday Tue-Do.  This week's craft is watercolor lessons for adults.

 

Then join us at 7:30 p.m., as Kelly Bleich, environmental historian, author, artist and educator will present a program about the Passenger Pigeon and provide insight into the extinct bird’s history. He will share his collection of thought provoking materials including a drawing of Martha, the last passenger pigeon.

The Bowman House has in its display a stuffed passenger pigeon.  This program, jointly sponsored by the Friends of the Kilbourn Public Library and the Dells Country Historical Society, will discuss how the passenger pigeon, once the most abundant bird in North America was systematically decimated.  Refreshments will be served.

Join us Saturday, March 7 at 10AM for library craft day!  We will be taking advantage of this month's windy weather.  Join us here at the library for kite and wind stories and making paper craft kites.
