Puppet Show on Saturday, March 6

Join Charlotte and her friends for the puppet show The Mysterious Egg on Saturday, March 6 at 10:00 a.m.  Find out just what is inside the mysterious egg.  Will Pig save the abandoned egg before Fox can eat it?  These questions will be answered in this family fun puppet show.  An egg craft will follow the show. 

March Book Club Selection

The Kilbourn Public Library Book Club will be reading Jane Austen in March.  We have copies of Jane Austen's novels and works written about Jane Austen available.  Stop in the the library and pick out one of the titles we have chosen.  Join us in March and explore writings of and about Jane Austen.The book club meets the 4th Monday and Wednesday of each month.  Join us Monday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. or Wednesday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss this well-loved English author.  You can also participate by visiting our book club blog at http://kplbookclub.blogspot.com/. 

Saturday is Movie Day

Saturday, February 20 is movie day at the library.  Join us for popcorn and a movie beginning at 10 am.  This month’s movie is Open Season 2.  Boog and Elliot are back for more crazy adventures in this sequel.  Find out how our favorite woodland creatures fare against your not so average pets in this family fun film that is newly released on DVD.     

Computer Class

There are still openings in our February computer class.  Introduction to the Internet and Email is a course for those with little or no experience browsing the web. Topics covered include basic Internet browsing and searching, Email, and tips for safe and secure web browsing.
This free class will be offered Wednesday, February, 24th at 6:00 PM and Thursday, February 25th at 1:00 PM.  Call the library for more information.

Book Club News

The Kilbourn Public Library Book Club will be meeting on Monday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, February 24 at 1:30 p.m.  We will be discussing Cheryl Jarvis' The Necklace : Thirteen Women and the Experiment that Transformed Their Lives.  You can also participate by visiting our book club blog at http://kplbookclub.blogspot.com/.  The book club will be reading Jane Austen in March.  Stop in the the library and pick out one of the titles we have available.  Join us in March and explore writings of and about Jane Austen. 

Valentine Puppet Show Saturday

This Saturday, February 6 at the library, Charlotte will be presenting the puppet show, One Zillion Valentines.  Join us at 10 am for the fun.   The puppet show will be followed by a Valentine making craft.             

Valentine Card Making Tue-Do

Join us on Tuesday, February 9 @ 1:00 for a Valentine Card Making Day.  We will be introducing our new Cricut machine that will cut shapes for all of you card making crafters.  Make Valentines to send to friends and relatives.  All supplies will be provided. Tuesday Tue-Dos are for adults only.
